Tim O’Kennedy
An experienced and internationally-minded brand, marketing and communications industry consultant, his entire career has been focused on the creative industries, and creative industry. He has worked with both client- and agency-side, and has experience of a number of highly admired brands and businesses, including Apple, Nike, Porsche, Yamaha, Electronic Arts, Dyson, Procter & Gamble, the BBC, NCR and Coca-Cola among others. He was one of the first Communication Planners in the US advertising industry. His specialties include business innovation, agency management, international marketing, sports marketing, brand and communications strategy, business strategy, creativity and creative industries. Formerly of W+K Amsterdam, O’Kennedy’s objective was to provide focused, strategic leadership to ensure that D&AD continues to grow in the UK and throughout the world. O’Kennedy launched his career with Saatchi & Saatchi London in the early 1980s and joined D&AD as Chief Executive Officer in 2009.
