Moment Factory is a Montréal based new media and entertainment studio that combines video, lighting, architecture, sound and special effects to create remarkable experiences around the globe.
Melissa’s role as creative leader and innovator at Moment Factory has evolved within the company since its beginnings in 2002. A key-member of the award-winning team, she specializes in creating and directing larger-than-life, integrated multimedia for the stage and public spaces.
Melissa enjoys collaboration across mediums and finding the common language that makes complex multi-disciplinary projects possible. Her experience as a contemporary dancer and performance artist has been influential in her directorial approach.
With Moment Factory she has worked as multimedia/ content director for many renowned artists including Madonna, MDNA World Tour (2012); JayZ at Carnegie Hall, benefit concert New York (2012); Celine Dion’s permanent show at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas (2011- ongoing). Melissa has directed creative teams on high-profile events around the world: from elaborate Royal Weddings in Doha to the Award Ceremony at the Vancouver Winter Olympics as well as numerous projects for the Cirque Du Soleil. She wrote and directed original outdoor public multi-media spectacles “Elixir”, Montreal (2010) and “Danse des Lumières” Lyon, for the Fête des Lumières festival, France (2009).
