Madhav Lavakare

Madhav Lavakare is an 18-year-old social entrepreneur and innovator from New Delhi. A hacker and tinkerer since childhood, he loves finding innovative and creative solutions to real-world problems. To him, problems are really just solutions waiting to be found. Madhav’s latest venture, TinkerTech Labs, is a social impact tech startup that aims to use technology and design for greater inclusion. Madhav has developed and designed TranscribeGlass, a wearable device that helps the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing transcend communication barriers. His innovation has won three national awards including the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Puraskar, the highest Indian civilian honour for students. Madhav’s mantra is ‘technology + empathy = impact’.
