Arunima Sen

Arunima Sen is a 17-year-old student and innovator from Bangalore. She is passionate about using STEM (Science, Technology, Mathematics, Engineering) for bringing in a change in the world. Over the years, she has co-developed different innovative projects with people from across the globe that helps in addressing some of the global challenges the world currently faces. For her exceptional achievements in the field of innovation, Arunima was awarded the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (erstwhile National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement), the highest civilian honor for Indian citizens under the age of 18, becoming the only female to be awarded in this category, this year. In addition to this, she has also been recognized at the international level for winning several innovation challenges. She has had the honor of meeting several scientific, industrial, and academic pioneers from Nobel Laureates to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies for my work. Her greatest passion is to work collaboratively with driven and talented people across the world to design innovative solutions to global problems.
