Through tDA, he has participated in think-tank sessions with the Indonesian and Vietnamese Governments on design strategy and export promotion, and presently sits on the vetting committee of the Design for Asia Awards in Hong Kong.
William consults on the shaping of lifestyle experiences for new Asian cities, communities, public and brand spaces. He is an advocate of sustainable design and has recently introduced eco-technologies to his clients in Malaysia.

In his personal work, he investigates, from the broad context of Asia, the intersection between mythology and identity, shamanism and technology, nature, ritual and the built environment, all of which can be conceived and fused into one holistic whole.
