Vince Frost
Frost Design| Vince is one of the world’s leading designers. He became Pentagram London’s youngest Associate Director in the early 90s. After five years at Pentagram, he set up Frost Design in 1994. Since then, many awards have come his way, including D&AD silvers, golds from the New York Society of Publication Designers and gongs from the New York and Tokyo Art Directors’ Clubs. In 2004 he made the move to Sydney, Australia, from where Frost continues to work for global clients and win international accolades. Since leaving London for Sydney Vince has been making his mark on the Australian design scene with a diverse range of projects from identities to magazines, interactive and books. This includes re-branding the Sydney Opera House; broadcast and identity design for Channel [V]; the new logo for Mushroom Records; a new identity and campaigns for Sydney Dance Company; the advertising campaign for Australia’s Northern Territory; the re-design of Australian Creative Magazine; “French” cookbook for Penguin; and environmental graphics and identities for Manta and Coast restaurants. Vince continues to work with a broad range of international clients, including New York-based Rizzoli Books, Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue, Deutsche Bank Asia, Seoul International Finance Centre, London-based architects Sheppard Robson, D&AD and international hedge fund EIM. Vince’s work was the subject of a major retrospective: Frost*bite: Graphic Ideas by Vince Frost at the Sydney Opera House Exhibition Hall in January 2006. |
