
Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Katherina lives and works in London as a senior designer at the world-renowned design agency, johnson banks. johnson banks’ innovative approach to design and identity attracts interest from across the world, despite the company’s small size – currently the company is working on major projects in the UK, USA and Japan. Whilst its focus is identity and branding schemes, it has gained equal recognition for its innovative stamp designs and bespoke designs in Japan.

Katherina’s work for clients such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Cabe, La Villette and The Art Fund has received many awards and her work has featured in the D&AD Annual since 2003 (a competition she helped judge in 2008). In addition her designs have been exhibited at The Barbican, The Design Museum, and as far afield as Shanghai and Tokyo. As a graduate of the world-famous college, Central St Martin’s, she regularly returns as a visiting lecturer, mentors students and judges student awards.
