
Director and founder of Vueling Airlines, the largest low cost airline in SW Europe, based in Barcelona, Spain. Carlos founded Vueling in 2003, and after its fast growth went public in late 2006 for €450M, with 1200 employees and 20 aircrafts. Currently Carlos is setting up his second airline start-up, also based in Spain.

Graduated in 1998, at Harvard University with a Masters in Business Administration, and in 1992 at Madrid’s Universidad de Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Business Administration and Management with a major in Finance. He began his professional career with the family business, AMC, in the juice and citrus industry, and later moved to San Francisco, California, where his wife is from, and where he was a consultant for McKinsey and Company.
